Everyday is a good time to thank seafarers and several days during the year focus that gratitude including;
The Day of the Seafarer- June 25th
International Maritime Day- September 30th
The theme of the latter in 2021 is 'Seafarers: at the core of shipping’s future' seeks to increase the visibility of seafarers by drawing attention to the invaluable role they play now and will continue to play in the future.

The Chaplains in Vancouver will on their ship visits on Sept 30th bring some treats to the seafarers onboard and recommit to advocating on behalf of the welfare of all seafarers.
