Praying for the Philippines

Many of the seafarers who reach our shores in Vancouver come  from the Philippines and our partner church in Vancouver St Michaels Multicultural Anglican Church also has a large number of Filipino members esp. from the north of the country in Luzon.

It was the north of the Philippines which recently bore the brunt of Typhoon Mangkhut which caused destruction to property and people's lives.

May those of us who live in relative safety here in Canada spare a prayer for those who have found themselves in harms way and for their loved ones on our shores and those working on the waters of the world.
