Position overview

The Mission to Seafarers is looking for someone to supervisor the smooth running of the centre at Robert’s Bank (Delta) for the care of the seafarers.

This is a part-time position, 24 hours per week.

The candidate needs to live in the Delta, BC area.

The position will begin with a probationary period of 3 months, ending with a review. The successful candidate will report directly to the Senior Chaplain the Rev’d Peter Smyth.

Responsibilities and duties          

.To keep records and supervise the store till. · Assist seafarers with such as money transfers and purchases · Supervise and schedule staff ·  To maintain and stock the store ·  To provide a warm and welcoming atmosphere in the centre. · To be able to work independently with minimal supervision. ·  To be able to communicate and work well with others.  

The start date is anticipated to be Monday 17th September.
