The Mission to Seafarers is present around the world to support seafarers.
It is set up in regions one being Canada with Chaplains and centre in ports across the country.
At the General Synod of the Anglican Church of Canada 2019 in Vancouver MTSC took the opportunity to have a booth to engage with delegatesto raise awareness of our work and highlight the life and contribution of seafarers.
Some of the people we met were from the Canadian Prairies and while there is no sea in the Prairies they play a vital role in that it is the grain grown there that is taken by train to Vancouver and then shipped around the world by seafarers.
