‘Care Packages’ for seafarers

As seafarers face increased isolation on the ships because of no shore leave and extended contracts with no crew changes meaning they can't go home all due to Covid-19 the Mission Chaplains have been visiting the Seafarers and are now taking on 'care packages', comfort food in a time of uncertainly including chips, popcorn,chocolate,toothpaste, stickers, thank you card, prayer card, seafarers news and contact information.

It is a drop in the ocean but the hope is that it lifts a little stress the seafarers are presently experiencing and that they know they are not alone.
