Support our bicycle ride event to raise funds and help us reach our $40,000 goal! Don’t miss this fun filled day and the opportunity to raise funds for the Mission to Seafarers.
Cycle one of two routes: 100km starting at 08:00 or 40km starting at 09:00, leaving from the Mission and arriving at Belcarra Park, Port Moody. Then travel on one of five Royal Vancouver Yachts for a mini harbour cruise departing from 12:00 - 14:00, while your bicycle is being transported courtesy of Seaspan Tugs. You and your bicycle rendezvous at the Main Street Docks, Tymac Launch and Service, adjacent to the Mission’s “Flying Angel Club”. Then it is over to the Mission for a delicious Salmon BBQ (also hotdogs and hamburgers) courtesy of the Canadian Fishing Company from 13:00 - 16:00. While celebrating your day’s accomplishments amidst the good food and good company, enjoy the music of Vancouver Community College Jazz students.
You do not have to be an avid cyclist to participate, just a person with a big heart and a willingness to make a difference. You can do it, so come on out and have a great ride while supporting a ministry that reaches across the seas and embraces the world!
Your day’s adventure includes the Mission’s customized cycling attire, insurance for the day, a new group of friends, a mini harbour cruise, great food and wonderful music - it doesn’t get any better!
